My approach is focused on training a mindset, rather than training behaviours. For obedience, this means cultivating a calm, composed, cooperative, compliant, polite, and respectful attitude. In protection training, we strive for a mind that is brave, and resilient to pressure and stress.

At the core of my training philosophy lies a relentless pursuit for that which is true, and real. The dog training industry is filled with deception and illusion, for the most part selling pseudo versions of the real thing. After nearly a decade of exploration, trial, error, and a few very rough personal experiences, I've finally managed to cut through the BS and focus my efforts on methods that generate real results; results that are functional, practical, reliable, and lasting.

My clients' happiness is my happiness. I consider it my responsibility to care for, and ensure the success of both two-legged and four-legged clients. Their trust in me is a gift, and I am blessed to be in a position that allows me to empower owners, strengthen the owner-dog relationship, and aid in life changing transformations.

While my background includes formal training and education, I chose not to detail it here, as I do not consider it to have been very important or relevant in shaping the trainer I am today. The truly valuable knowledge & understanding was gained through subjective experience, the willingness to challenge the norm, courage for self honesty, and dedication to constant self-improvement. The proof is in the pudding, and the work and results speak for itself.
